A transparent local-stock and dropship delivery model for South African customers.
The production store should distinguish clearly between products held in South Africa and products fulfilled from an external supplier or international warehouse. Vort3x Unltd will use The Courier Guy and Aramex as the primary delivery services. Each product must display a realistic dispatch/delivery estimate before checkout.
The checkout is prepared for live integrations with The Courier Guy and Aramex. A production implementation should calculate available rates using destination, parcel mass/dimensions, service level and any remote-area surcharge. Free-shipping thresholds can then be applied as a commercial rule.
If an order contains both local and dropship items, Vort3x should advise the customer that deliveries may arrive separately. The customer should see each shipment's status and tracking reference.
Delays caused by customs, supplier stock discrepancies, courier disruptions or incorrect delivery information should be communicated proactively. Final policy wording should match actual supplier and courier SLAs.
